There is a comprehensive network of trams, buses, and riverboats to get you around the city. The 'Pass Nantes' card is good value for use on public transport as well as entry into some of the attractions.
The airport lies about 5 miles southwest of the city and has flights to various cities in France and the rest of Europe as well as some international connections. There is a shuttle bus service to the airport.
Nantes is on the TVG rail network making Paris just 2 hours away.
Cycle hire is available throughout the city.
