Description:
This town is a major yachting port and has excellent sailing facilities. It has a flourishing oyster industry. As a holiday town, also, it is well provided with shops and restaurants.
It lies on the northern shore of the Quiberon Bay.

This is not a Port of Entry.
International yachts should go to Lorient and visit Customs (Douanes) – 94 avenue de la Perrière 56100 LORIENT – it is better to call before 09 70 27 51 59.

Docking
The shelter in the marina is good, but more exposed at high tide.
There is a good neap-tide anchorage in the Saint-Pilbert river, just to the east of the town, and another, more exposed, west of Pointe St-Colomban.
