Description:

Rouen is a wonderful medieval city lying 75 miles (120 km) up the River Seine from the port of Le Havre. It was once one of the most important ports in France.

Marinas:

There is a very useful boat harbour on the north bank of the river just before the bridge.

Notes:

This is a good place to have the mast unstepped if proceeding on to the the inland waterways. It is essential to take full advantage of the rising tide and full daylight to make the trip in one go. It is a busy river with commercial shipping.
