Arrivals should initially berth on the end of the quay to starboard on entering the port. Alternatively, pick up a mooring just off the harbor wall. Call on VHF ch 08 to arrange a mooring. The mooring buoys are by the town during the summer and are managed separately from the marina. They are an economical alternative to the marina. In addition, the moorings enjoy excellent shelter from prevailing winds and it is only a short dinghy trip to the dock.
As this port can be rather chaotic in the busy season, it is best to arrive in the morning if possible.
There is no anchoring in the harbor, but a good anchorage can be found in 3 to 10m southeast of the port.
