Essential supplies can be obtained within a half mile walk of the harbor. There is a small Spar supermarket about halfway around the drying harbor and several more shops in the cobbled street leading inland from there. A greater variety of shops and a larger supermarket requires a longer walk over the headland to the Seaside area of the town (Portrieux). (take the 1st turning right after passing the bank). There is an excellent hardware shop on this route.
There is a useful open-air market on Monday mornings with good fish and fresh produce stalls as well as other products.
