Douarnenez - Docking

Apr 03, 2019

There are several options for berthing. On the west bank of the Riviere de Pouldavid at Treboul, opposite the southern tip of the Ile Tristan. In northerly winds, this can be a little uncomfortable as the swell creeps round the end of the breakwater.

In the floating harbor at Port Rhu. This is the most secure berth, being totally sheltered. The Port-Rhu basin is accessible two hours each side of high water.

The remaining option is the anchorage in Rade du Guest, SW of Ile Tristan. Dinghies can be safely landed at Plages des Dames.

There may also be a vacant mooring in Port de Rosmeur. Contact the Harbour Master first.
