Cantieri Nautico Albula

Following Noonsite members comments, we visited Max and Enricco yard and found it our style 🙂
We left our boat afloat there in June 2017. Afloat because we had planned to return in September for a quick cruise to Tunisia to reset our 18 TI.
Went as planned and returned to Fiumicino . Max was away ferrying a boat back from Greece, therefore in all confidence, we left our boat afloat and a list of jobs to be done in accordance with a prior estimate.

During our absence, Max and Enricco did haul out and got the work completed to our satisfaction.
E-communication was reassuring and regular with Either Max or Enricco while we were away and the work was
In process.

Their yard, like others in the canal, appears modest, even rustic. But both Max and Enricco are quite experienced and of very good counsel.
The new lifting bridge was back in normal operation. Schedule a bit limiting, but manageable if for longer-term parking.

Italy is known to be on the expensive side in general, moreover as we are now ashore in Greece. And Cantiere Albula offers a safe, very friendly and comparatively reasonable rates. Very good place if you like quiet, want to stay onboard while preparing out or back in. We found also a good hotel walking distance. Also felt safe walking thru at night.
We would go back there any time.

Max and Enrico’s Boatyard (Cantieri Nautico Albula)

Thanks to Noonsite we found this boatyard situated about half a mile upstream from the lifting car bridge up the Fiumicino Canal. We had our catamaran lifted for the winter. The prices are very reasonable and they took extremely good care of our boat, with regular contact to make sure that our batteries were kept charged. The yard gets very busy so you need to book your space for winter early! We would have no hesitation in recommending this boatyard in the future. One last thing, they both speak good English !!
