Electricity
  • Voltage: 230 V
  • Frequency: 50 Hz
Fuel: When fuel or a fuel berth is listed, then that is normally for diesel. For Gasoline (petrol), it is often necessary to jerry can it from the nearest fuel station in the town. Water: The water quality is very high and widely available in marinas, chandleries or in towns/cities. LPG: Bock Camping gaz and Italgaz are widely available in marinas, chandleries or in towns/cities. Getting work done:

The best repair facilities are in the north-west of the country where most marinas are concentrated. There are boatyards all around Italy's coasts and for any repair or haul-out, one is never too far away from help. Marine supplies and spares, particularly more common makes of diesel engines or outboards, are widely available, although everything is found more easily in the north. Essential spares that are not available locally can be imported free of duty.

Provisions:

There are supermarkets in all the large towns and even the smallest villages are likely to have a bakery and general store.
