Porto Cervo - Docking

Jul 28, 2025

There are mooring buoys as well as two marinas here but beware of the cost, especially in high season.

Porto Vecchio is immediately to port on entering the harbour and Porto Cervo straight ahead beyond the breakwater. There are moorings on the northern side of the harbour, but they do need to be booked ahead of arrival. Beware of the shoal patches in this area.

This is also a useful place for repair work (if you can afford to stay!).

The Cala di Volpe mooring field is located approximately seven nautical miles south of Marina di Porto Cervo and comprises 18 secure buoys designed to accommodate yachts up to 150 metres. This is managed by IGY Marinas. Its location also allows direct access to the facilities of Hotel Cala di Volpe, including its restaurants and bars. The site offers a range of support services, including water taxis, waste collection, provisioning, catering and shuttle transfers to shore.
