Olbia - Docking

Oct 04, 2016

Yachts can use the (disused) ferry quay for free for one night in the harbour (no electricity or water).

Anchoring in the harbour is also free.

There are also several marinas in the vicinity including the newer Marina di Olbia, at the SE end of the harbour.

Previously there have been incidents of anchored boats being broken into. It may be advisable to leave someone on board if leaving the boat during the evening. Yachts moored against the wall were not affected.

Cruisers also report anchoring comfortably and for free in the large bay to the south of Porto Romano (to port as you approaching Oblia). See cruisers' recommendations in comments at bottom of the page.
