Arbatax - Docking

Jan 12, 2017

There are marina pontoons in the southern part of the harbour.

Anchoring is now prohibited within a radius of 1.5NM from the light on the end of the seawall at Arbatax (New ordinance: Ufficio Circulation Arbatax 35/2015 dated 15/6/15). Yachts that anchor in the prohibited zone will be fined €100.00. It is advisable to communicate first with the local Caribinieri if wishing to anchor, to determine exactly where is permitted.

Three miles north of Arbatax, is the new marina of Santa Maria Navarrese.

There are useful anchorages in the bays south of the town in about 7m in the sand, but take care to keep outside the swimming area.
