Description:
A good stopover en-route to Sardinia (although not as close as Trapani), Mazara is the largest fishing port in Italy. It is home to the statue of the Dancing Satir (important Hellenistic sculpture found by a fisherman in 1998) and displayed in a church close to the marina.
