Australian Border Force and the Department of Agriculture carry out customs, immigration and biosecurity clearance formalities here.
Contact Port Control Tower on Marine VHF Channel 16 prior to entering the channel. The operator will provide instruction re berthing. The primary berth is the town jetty, located opposite Customs House outside the commercial wharf area. (Temporary berthing only).
Note: Port Hedland Yacht Club is tide restricted and is not a designated Customs Clearing point.
