Where is Adelaide?

Adelaide is the capital and largest city of South Australia and the fifth-most populous city in Australia.  It is situated north of the Fleurieu Peninsula, between the Gulf St Vincent in the west and the Mount Lofty Ranges in the east and lies approximately 400nm west of Melbourne, Victoria on the coast of South Australia.

Cruiser Highlights for Adelaide:

The Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia provide a warm welcome to cruisers who make it here.  The general consensus among club members it that international cruisers rarely come to Adelaide as it is "too far up the gulf and off the beaten track".  Those who do make the journey will be well rewarded with things to see and do.  The city is known for it's festivals, beautiful beaches and is the gateway to one of the country's most famous wine regions.
