Australian Border Force and the Department of Agriculture carry out customs, immigration and biosecurity clearance formalities here.
The appointed Boarding Station for international arrivals is located at the Fuel Berth Pontoon and Gangway area of Townsville's Breakwater Marina.
On arrival clearly, display the 'Q' flag and call the marina on VHF Channel 10 or 16. The fuel dock is located immediately inside the marina entrance on the starboard side. It is imperative that vessels clearing customs DO NOT secure to the fuel dock until Customs officers are onsite. Vessels arriving after hours will be required to stand-off in the breakwater area outside the marina entrance.
