Hello, the day of our departure, we have the pleasure to leave a comment about Scarborough marina. It was for us a long moment of stopover. First attracted by its long-term rates, we found a good management team at our service and near us to simplify our stay. (Thanks to Richard, Tracy and all the staff at the marina).

You will also find a ship chandler and a mechanic for all your worries. The town is also very nice and the friendly people and access to Brisbane and the airport are very easy. We will keep a very good one, remember; thank you for everything, MARIANNE F.

Scarborough Marina

We came to Scarborough Marina after hearing about them in the Down Under Rally. In fact, the marina manager Richard came to Noumea to meet the participants. His approach was so friendly that we resolved to base ourselves there for our visit to Brisbane.

The office manager Tracy was super efficient, arranging to give us our berth details well in advance and leave security passes for us.
On arrival, we were met by Jason who helped us tie up.
Within minutes local resident cruisers were offering help and advice, to drive us to the shops etc.

The marina is clean and facilities excellent, including good wifi in the cruiser TV lounge.
The bus to the local large shopping center is around the corner. There is a great train service to Brisbane, the local sailing club makes people welcome and they can also refill gas bottles.

The local chandlers are well equipped and the yard appears to offer most services.

In short, it is an excellent place to stay in the Brisbane area and the local Redcliffe Peninsula is delightful. In addition, it is very reasonably priced with discounts to Down Under Rally participants. A hard place to leave!
