Mooring and anchoring in Eden

Eden provides two free mooring balls and a breakwater gives all weather surge and swell protection — but there are a number of uncharted rocks to be aware of. Due to these rocks which are only visible during low tide it is not recommended anchoring inside the breakwater with a night time arrival.

Priority on the wharf must be given to fishing vessels. If going alongside the wharf, fender boards are required. Mooring lines can go to either bollards or around wharf pylons which have hard plastic rubbing strakes. The wharf is well protected by an

Fuel is easily arranged and reasonably priced.

Anchoring is possible in Snug Cove, Weecon Cove and other bays in the area including Quarantine Bay near the boat ramp.  When the southerly winds arrive, cross the bay to the south western side and anchor behind large cliffs on a sandy bottom.
