Bandar Bintan Telani (BBT) – Bintan Island - Clearance

This is a Port of Entry for Indonesia.  See the main Indonesia Formalities page for detailed clearance information.  Ensure you have completed all advance CIQP requirements and have provided at least 72 hours notice before your intended arrival.

Note:  Dogs are NOT allowed on Bintan at all so do not attempt to clear in here if you have animals on board.  You will have to go to Batam to register your dogs there (750SGD for a three month temporary permit.

General Clearance:

Bintan Resorts Marina requests at least 12 hours notice of your arrival, preferably by email.  It is also advisable to arrive during daylight hours to avoid overtime charges.  Agent fees apply when clearing in here.

Contact the Marina prior to arrival on VHF Channel 14, call sign "BBT Terminal".

International Clearance:

Fly the Indonesian courtesy flag, “N” and “Q” flags when entering Indonesia waters.

Officers will come aboard to process your entry or departure. The process may take 1 to 2 hours and will usually be undertaken between the arrivals and departures of the Singapore ferries.

Ensure passports have the proper inward stamps and visa validity.
