All international clearance procedures are undertaken at Benoa Harbour where all the CIQP offices are located.
It is possible to do international clearances in Serangan. If using an agent they will bring all officials to your boat and handle the paperwork for you. While it is advisable to use the services of an agent it can be an expensive process.
It is also possible to anchor in Serangan Harbour and then go to Benoa to undertake clearance formalities without using an agent. However you will need to transport the officials from Benoa to Serangan and then to your vessel. This will involve several trips back and forth and dealing with traffic as Serangan is not so close by road.
