YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Pior to arrival, contact the Harbour Master on VHF Channel 12. John Neal from Mahina Expeditions recommends reporting when you are at the red can buoy off the lighthouse.
Contact the Harbour Master' office in advance to ascertain berth availability prior to arrival.
The inner harbor has been dredged and a new marina installed at the northern end of the inner harbor. A slipway and boat hoist with boatyard services are planned for 2020.
A small anchorage is available between Goat Island and the RO-RO pier. Protected from north wind through easterly to southeasterly.
Approximately 1nm south of the marina, provides a good, sheltered anchorage, although more open to the north. Beware of the fairway that leads into this anchorage. Ships still come occasionally to the fabrication sheds of Arnish. The inner harbour has no room for anchoring and all the mooring buoys are private.
Closest anchorage south of Stornoway. Go to back of bay. Good shelter and not too deep.
Next anchorage south of Grimshader. Anchor off the village where moorings are, or better, continue on toward the back of the bay, anchoring between the cove and islet in center.
