Description:
Lowestoft is a useful port, sitting as it does, on the eastern-most part of East Anglia. It also gives access to that wonderful, peaceful sailing area, the Norfolk Broads.

Docking
The harbour provides good shelter and is accessible 24hr. With a strong ebb tide and an onshore wind, the entrance can be quite lively.
There are yacht berths in the SW corner of the Outer Harbour.
Lowestoft Haven Marina is based in the former Hamilton Dock. It provides complete shelter. Turn to sta’bd once through the entrance of the Outer Harbour and continue N past the fish market in Waveney Dock. The channel is dredged 3m
