Description:
Situated on the east coast of the Isle of Harris where the southern part of the island is almost separated from the northern part, Tarbert is a ferry terminal for Skye and North Uist.

Docking
There is now a yacht pontoon here.
Anchor to the WSW of the ferry pier in about 2-3m.

An alternative refuge can be found in the northern part of the harbour at Scalpay, about 5nm SE of Tarbert.
