Portland is Maine's business, financial and retail capital and is the largest city in the state. It is perched on a peninsula, jutting out into island-studded Casco Bay.

Historic architecture blends with the new along the working waterfront and in the cobbled streets of the restored Old Port. This area is both a working waterfront and a chic shopping, dining, and entertainment district.
