General Info
Coos Bay, Oregon’s largest bay, is the commercial centre of the state’s southern coast, and is a busy commercial port. It is located near some of the finest scenery in the Northwest.
Charleston is an attractive town.

On entering Coos Bay you must go to the Charleston Marina Visitor’s Dock to clear with Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Charleston Marina is located in Charleston which is to the south just after entering the bay. The visitor’s dock is the first pier located beside the commercial fishing fleet.
It reduces the waiting time if prior notice of your arrival is given.

There is a bar at the entrance to Coos Bay. Call the Coast Guard on Tel: (888-3102) for current conditions.
Charleston harbor, just inside Coos Bay, is home to a busy fishing fleet, which supplies a variety of local seafood processors. It’s also has a marina. The harbor area includes restaurants, shops, marine supplies and repair operations, and other firms offering a variety of services. All within comfortable walking distance.
The town of Coos Bay is a further 8 miles from the entrance.
