There are several taxi companies to choose from.
There are airports at Inverness and Glasgow.
From Inverness it is 2.5 hours train ride to Kyle - then bus to Portree.
Alternatively, from Glasgow train to Mallaig (journey time 5 hours), then ferry to Armadale and bus to Portree.
