Where is Valencia?

Valencia is the 3rd largest city in Spain and its port has a long history. It is situated on the banks of the Turia river on the eastern coast of Mediterranean Spain and has a vast commercial port as well as a number of yacht marinas.

Cruiser Highlights

The Barrio del Carmen in the old city centre is an attractive place to stroll around, with its many cafes and lively nightlife. In contrast, the modern city close to the port, with its strange and impressive architecture by the city's beloved architect Calatrava, gives visitors a totally different perspective on city life.

This is a very bike-friendly city, with wonderful bike paths throughout. If you don't have your own, there are plenty of bike rental shops.
