Valencia is famous for its Fallas Festival, held each year in March. On the last night of Fallas, the Nit de Foc, there is a most impressive fireworks display, and on the 17th and 18th of March, there are beautiful processions following two paths that take flowers to the Plaza of the Virgin. At the end of the festival, the fellas are burned.

The old town has been restored and has many interesting buildings.

Valencia's aquarium is the most famous in the Mediterranean.
