Grenada Volunteer Opportunity for Cruisers

Deb Eastwood started Get Grenada Swimming 12 years ago when she found out that 90% of the island population didn’t know how to swim. They are always looking for volunteers to help teach kids and adults how to swim. They meet on Saturdays in front of Umbrellas from 9am-11am. They train you on what to do before your first teaching session. Transportation is available for cruisers from Prickly Bay and Secret Harbor. More information can be found at Get Grenada Swimming, on the Cruisers Net (VHF 66, 0730) or the Grenada Cruisers Information Facebook page.
