A small but safe harbor (high charges in summer but no water). The bay on northeast side is an excellent anchorage.

The harbor/pier at Myrsini provides good shelter. There are bays on the southern side of the island which are good in northerlies.

Iraklia
This island has a nice little harbor. Moor only on the inside pier. Be aware when the big ferries and water ship come in. There is a good beach here and several possible anchorages.

is a beautiful island with very clear waters but unfortunately the hijacked jail is illegally exploited by the owner of the tavern SYRMA and lets you put your boat only if you go and eat there I am sorry that this man is Greek.
Ayios Yeoryios on Iraklia, 36°51.8’N, 25°28.2’E, and Mersini on Skoinousa, 36°52.3’N, 25°30.6’E, can between them provide shelter from all winds.
Ayios Yeoryios is the smaller of the two and we experienced swell from the nor’easter. Mersini has more space, but the motor yachts mentioned in Heikell’s pilot are still there.
