No cruise of America's East coast would be complete without a visit to this iconic city. However, it is advisable to plan where to berth in advance.

Cruiser Highlights:

New York is surrounded by water and the Hudson River is especially popular among sailors from around the world. The best times for sailing here are from late April until late October.

The Great Loop passes directly through New York City and continues up the Hudson River into the inland waterways of Upstate New York.  From there you can transit the Erie Canal in upstate New York (USA) that runs east-west between the Hudson River and Lake Erie.
