Peel is the only real harbour on the west coast of the Isle of Man. It is famous for its kippers, which are reputed to be some of the best to be found anywhere in the UK.

The bridge at the marina entrance opens only within 2 hours either side of high water (the entrance DRIES), on the hour and half hour. contact “Peel Harbour” on VHF 12 to request an opening.
