Description:
Alanya is a seaside resort located on the eastern side of the Gulf of Antalya. It is 120 kms (74.5 miles) from the city of Antalya. It is attractive all year, with a castle and many historical sites in the vicinity.
The old village has almost remained untouched by the later development now surrounding it.
Entrance Notes and Cautions:
Alanya Yat Limani (Alanya Marina) lies to the west of the city, not in the downtown core and facilitates cruising eastwards to Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon & Israel.

Located on Türkiye's central Mediterranean coast (also known as the Turkish Riviera) with beaches including Cleopatra Beach, where the Egyptian queen reputedly swam, Alanya Castle, a giant Seljuk-era fort turned open-air museum, on a rocky bluff above the beachfront and the octagonal Red Tower, a symbol of the city dating to 1226.
