Description:

Position:
41° 58.9’N, 33° 46.7’E (outer end of breakwater)
Clearance
This is an official Port of Entry.
For the full details on clearance go to the Noonsite/Turkey/Formalities page.
All officials located in the south of the harbor.
Docking
This is a good, sheltered harbor, however, watch out for swell in easterly winds and wash from the commercial traffic.
If space is available, alongside berthing is possible on the northern quay (closest to town) at the western end, but beware of the underwater rubble in the corner. It tends to be noisy here with the lorries coming and going.
Alternatively, anchor in mud in the southern half of the harbor, clear of the Coast Guard’s quay. The holding is uncertain.
