Position:
41° 01.85’N, 40° 31.21’E (Fishing harbor entrance)
Clearance
This is an official Port of Entry.
For the full details on clearance go to the Noonsite/Turkey/Formalities page.
Docking
Yachts are the best berthing in the fishing harbor, which lies just to the south of the commercial harbor and nearer the center of the town.
In the Commercial Harbour berth as directed by the Harbour Master or failing that, med-moor to the small stone jetty in the SW corner of the harbor.
The Fishing Harbour is more comfortable and sheltered. On entry ask permission to anchor or pick up a mooring and tie back to one of the boat sheds that line three sides of the harbor.
This is a provincial capital, therefore everything is available in the city.
For repairs, ask at the Post Office in the commercial harbor.
