Clearance
This is an official Port of Entry.
For the full details on clearance go to the Noonsite/Turkey/Formalities page.
The last place to clear out of Turkey if heading to Georgia or beyond. On arrival the authorities will deal with clearance, however, with very few yachts visiting here they are not familiar with the procedure for small craft.

Docking
This harbor offers good shelter and visiting yachts can berth in the inner harbor. Options are either to go alongside the cement quay or anchor in the NE part of the harbor. The authorities may direct you to a suitable place.
As this is a commercial port, wash from the large ship movements is inevitable.
The port is about 2.4 kms (1.5 miles) from the small town.

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.
