Ceuta - Docking

Sep 02, 2024

There is plenty of room in the outer harbour for getting sails down and preparing for mooring but stay to the eastern side in order to keep out of the way of fast ferries. There is some current at the final turn for the marina due to the through-flow of water in the moat.

Ceuta now has a modern marina close to the town. This port, however, is no longer the best place for provisioning, as the prices are more expensive than in mainland Spain.

Night arrivals can dock at the fuel pier at the entrance to the marina. Note however that Guardia Civil boats do berth here, leaving little space for visiting yachts.
