The town has retained evidence of its moorish and medieval past and is a typical white town of the Andalusian region. There are several long, white, sandy beaches nearby.
The small church by the marina does not look anything from outside but venture inside and you will be amazed, gold everywhere reflecting the history of this ancient sea port and its importance during the Spanish conquests in the Americas.
