San Sebastian - Docking

San Sebastian has a large natural harbour, which lies just west of the river entrance. The shelter is fair but there can be a heavy swell in strong north-west or north north-west winds.

Pick up a vacant visitors buoy or anchor south of Isla Santa Clara, or SW of the Yacht club. It is advisable to buoy the anchor. The Yacht basin full of local/fishing boats. The marina is just inside the entrance on the NE side (43° 19.31'N, 01° 59.41'W).

There are limited facilities in the immediate port area. The marina offers the usual services of water, electricity and showers. There are plans to build a larger modern marina close by at Zurriola.
