Description:
Fuengirola is a major tourist resort on the Costa del Sol and very busy during the summer season. It lies approximately 5NM SW of Torremolinos and 15NM east of Marbella.

Entrance Notes and Cautions:
Entering the harbor may be difficult in strong NE-E winds due to swell. It is recommended in these conditions to enter as close to HW as possible. Beware of the strong currents towards the beach. There is also a shallow patch to starboard of the entrance so keep mid-channel.
