Where is Barcelona?

Barcelona is one of Spain's most popular cities and is situated on the north east Mediterranean coast in the province of Catalonia.

As well as being a major European port, Barcelona is a top yachting destination with excellent facilities for yachts of all sizes.

If planning to spend some time here, berthing in one of the marinas just outside the city and using public transport to explore, will be much more cost-effective than choosing one of the city centre marinas.

The city is a popular cultural tourist destination with intriguing architecture, art, food markets, great local cuisine and some of the best museums in Spain. It's close to the Pyrenees, has superb beaches and two international airports.
