Puerto Pollenca (Mallorca) - Docking

Apr 01, 2015

There are government buoys in the bay. The boys are no longer free and can be used for 3 nights maximum. Booking is advisable in the peak season. Contact www.balearslifeposidonia.eu

There are no longer any buoys to the west of the lighthouse.

If you decide to anchor, ensure you put out enough chain (5X depth!), as the bay can be subjected to very strong gusts caused by a thunderstorm on the other side of the mountains.

Moorings and berths are also available at the Real Club Nautic, which has a clubhouse with pool and restaurant and about 80 visitors' berths, north of the breakwater.

Cheaper berths may be available on the Town Quay (Muelle de Transit). Entrance to the Town Quay is on the south side of the breakwater, turn to port behind the fuel quay, call them on the radio or pick any free space on that south quay. Yachts can stay here up to three nights.

It is possible to land from a dinghy on the outside of the north wall of the marina.
