The Post Office is out of the main town, in the building with 10 on it between the town and the ferry terminal.

There are at a number of cafes in town with internet access and WiFi.

At Rebak Marina the 3G signal on the island is reported to be weak. Around the pool is the best signal. If you want to pick up the WiFi signal on your boat, you will need an antenna.

If shipping goods in transit, be sure to check the agent has an import license - most don't.

A very useful local website for sailors is www.langkawi-gazette.com
