Post Office, Jalan Tun Razak where it changes into Jalan Haji Saman

Telephones: Shangri-La Hotel Business centre and most hotels - the public phone system is difficult at times.

Internet access: Best is to get a local SIM card and use in a dongle or in your smartphone as a hotspot. Pre-pay plans are inexpensive and speed very good in populated areas.

There is an excellent business centre at the Shangri-La Hotel and while it is more expensive than the Internet cafes in town the air-conditioned, luxurious surroundings make it worthwhile.

Holding/Forwarding addresses: Any of the marinas, resorts or Poste Restante at the Post Office.
