Kota Kinabalu - Activities, Attractions & Shopping

Jan 07, 2025

Kota Kinabalu (KK) has a lot to offer with arts, music, and food. You'll also find a wide range of new malls, alongside traditional fish and fresh produce markets. As a base for inland travel, you can get to Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Center, the Gomantong Caves and the Sungai Kinabatangan, Sabah's longest river.

A number of new moorings have been set up around islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, a state park located in Gaya Bay, about three kilometres offshore from KK.  The islands are some of the most popular dive sites around Malaysian Borneo.
