There is a cave in the hillside opposite the harbour. You can go inside with the tender and it opens out into a wonderful setting, the light is reflected from the sandy bottom up through the crystal clear turquoise water, or one could swim into it from the boat and really enjoy a good snorkel,
A 10 minute walk up the hill brings you to the extensive foundations of the acropolis Zarakas, probably Mycenaean. The view makes the climb well worth the effort.
