YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

It is possible to anchor at the eastern side of the bay off the town quay (until the quayside is operational). There are sheltered anchorages nearby.
Anchorage on the east side of Nisis Koukounitsa - this is a large anchorage with depths in the middle of the bay at 6-8 metres, reducing to 3 metres closer to shore. It provides shelter from all points except north. However, holding is patchy and it can take a few attempts to get the anchor to set in mud. Once dug in then holding is OK. Holding may be better closer to Nisis Koukounitsa itself. This anchorage is likely very busy summer 2024 due to on-going works on Vonitsa town quay.
Dinghies can go ashore at the landward end of the causeway linking the island, and it is a short walk into Vonitsa Town, dinghy round the island to the town quay.
The Town Quay is extensive and likely a charter destination, however it is exposed to the prevailing wind. There is a new quayside at the western end of the bay with laid lines and mooring rings, but no water or electricity. The mooring rings are all small and mounted on the quay face, perhaps making mooring unaided challenging.
At the eastern side of the bay there are several mooring rings, but the quayside was not yet operational July 2024.

The old harbour (under the castle) is undergoing major works, with a marina project expected to be completed by 2026. No berthing possible here currently.

The quayside has an array of bars and tavernas and there are supermarkets and a hardware store - which supplies propane gas - in the main street.
