Psara - Docking

May 05, 2022

The island is affected by the Meltemi, but on the south coast is the little harbour of Psara which offers good shelter.

The small quay has approximately three meters (10 ft) depths with soft mud and good holding. Find space where you can, bow and stern-to in the high season, although it's possible to go alongside in the down months.

There is water and electricity on the quay, although the island has a limited water supply.

The little village has good tavernas and a very small mini-market.

Out of the port towards the NE, there are three coves with perfect shelter from the Meltemi.
