YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Mandraki Yacht Harbor
Often full of local or charter yachts with little room for visitors. Finding a berth between Friday and Monday is difficult once the season has begun as this is when the charter fleet are in port. If you secure a berth during the week, you may be asked to leave before the weekend when the charter fleet returns. This marina has very cost-effective berthing fees that include water and electricity although shore side facilities are basic.
Some agents can help with securing berthing here in advance or you can try contacting the marina a week or so before you arrive to reserve. If possible, it's best to reserve a spot in advance and stick to your schedule as the harbour is very busy.
There is a chain that runs the length of the quay about 30 meters off the sea wall. Therefore you will need to drop the anchor fairly far out. It is recommended to use a tripping line as fouled anchors here are common.
The town quay is reserved for local ferries and hydrofoils.
The moorings on the east side are private. All berths are allocated to charter boats and vsitors are discouraged from berthing here. The pontoon on the west side of the harbor has now been removed.
Rhodes (new) Marina
The new marina is improving its facilities and service every year - see latest updates in comments section. It is 1.6 kms (one mile) from the town in a quiet area with no bus service available. Across the road from the marina is a chandlery, a bakery, and a restaurant. There is a small supermarket about a five minute walk away and a larger Lidl supermarket about three kms (1.8 miles) away.
Anchoring
If no room can be found, or if you prefer a little more peace and quiet (and no problems with crossed anchors), you can anchor behind the windmills by the harbor wall, keeping clear of the channel into the commercial port.
There is also an anchorage about 1NM SE of the harbor, close to the old city and a small boatyard. However, in NW winds it is subject to an uncomfortable swell.
Weather information (in English) is on VHF Channel 63 at 06:00/10:00/16:00/22:00hrs UTC.
