YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Katapola
This pretty little port is at the head of a deep bay towards the western end of the NW coast. There is space for approx. 20 yachts to tie stern-to the quay (between the two ferry berths). Water and power are available.
Take care with your anchor chain as the inner ferry berth is used by a small ferry which lays its anchor a good distance off.
There are several good anchorages in the bay itself.
Like most Aegean islands it has a Chora high up on the hill. It is a good walk for those who keep fit and worth a visit. There are some nice tavernas for dinner. The town has pretty, narrow streets and some interesting shops and cafes to browse. The Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa should also not be missed.
Car hire is available in the port and a drive around the island is well with the effort.

Ormos Ayios Annas
Tucked just inside the NW part of the island this small harbor lies off the village of Yialis in the SE of the bay. It is always quite crowded and if berthed on the town quay can be noisy with music from the waterfront bars. Moor Med-style to the quay clear of the ferry. Holding is not that good. There is water on the quay. Charging is inconsistent.
The bay is open to the W and NW so can be uncomfortable with strong gusts into the bay during the Meltemi. Anchoring here is possible in seven meters (23 ft) just off the town quay, but can be rolly and is only recommended in calm weather.
This is a very pretty little port with many very nice tavernas, shops, mini markets, and several boutique hotels.
Anchoring
There are good anchorages along the northern side of the island including Kefalotiri and Kalotaritissa.
