March:

Moorea Marathon - The Moorea Marathon is a stunning exotic race with a spectacular course, offering participants the chance to explore the island's natural beauty.

Puddle Jump crews set sail independently, sharing information on weather routing and island destinations via radio nets and online. Yachts arrive in French Polynesia from April to June, meeting in the islands.

Tahiti Pearl Regatta

Tahiti Pro Teahupo’o - The World Surf League (WSL) hosts a renowned international surfing competition featuring big, powerful waves, attracting the world's best surfers to test their skills and push the sport's boundaries.

XTERRA Trail Moorea - Explore Moorea's stunning island with four challenging courses, including the 100 km trail and the accessible 12 km trail run.

July:

Tahiti Moorea Sailing RDV - an annual three-day event that aims to give a warm Polynesian welcome to cruising sailors while celebrating their successful ocean crossing. Normally in the first week of July.

Destination NZ - Coastal and Offshore Cruising International (C&OC)
Passage briefings in French Polynesia in June, departure from the Leeward Islands in July with arrival in New Zealand planned for late October.

Heiva I Tahiti - The annual celebration of French Polynesia's Polynesian spirit, featuring traditional chants, music, and dancing, renews traditions and history, showcasing a vibrant display of colour and movement.

October:

Hawaiki Nui Va'a (October to November) - The Society Islands host an iconic event that showcases Polynesian tradition and the thrilling spirit of outrigger canoe racing.

XTERRA Tahiti Triathlon - The triathlon race is set to take place on the stunning island of Moorea. The "Air Tahiti Nui" triathlon race on Moorea Island will feature local and international triathletes competing for XTERRA World Championships spots.

November:

Hura Tapairu (November to December) - The Islands of Tahiti hosts an annual dance competition in Papeete, showcasing the vibrant Polynesian spirit and making it a must-see event for visitors.
